OUR LEADER
Mr. C.P. Sharma is the Managing Director of Daulat Ram Engineering Services Limited and Former Chairman of CII (Railway Equipment Division). With over 40 years of experience in the Railway Industry Domain, he has led the company to excellence in developing products for Railway Mobility.
He holds the rare distinction of government recognition and has served at the apex level in technical education and skill development — including as Chairman of the National Institute of Technical Teacher Training & Research and Director at the State Skill Development Centre.
He played a pivotal role in the development of Traction Machines & HVAC for Indian Railways, and pioneered the Make in India initiative by indigenizing rotating equipment that were previously imported at high costs.
Research & Development and value engineering are his passions. He inspires his team with a unique leadership style , resulting in almost zero employee attrition . He remains true to his roots and values, embodying vision and humility in equal measure.
